"Myprofessional career has been focused in the areas of clinical nutrition, overweight and obesity treatment and nutrition education, as well as activities related to food safety and quality control.

Currently I work as the Director of the Medical Department of Bariatricline coordinating areas of clinical research and training in obesity and bariatric surgery. It is a great satisfaction to be able to work in the research and development of safe, effective products, with the best raw materials and that improve the quality of life of people living with obesity".

PhD in Nutrition and Public Health from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Degree in Pharmacy from the Complutense University of Madrid, specializing in Dietetics-Pharmaceutics. Master in Food Technology and Control by the Center for Higher Studies of the Pharmaceutical Industry (CESIF).

Postgraduate degree in Nutrition, Dietetics and Diet Therapy and Postgraduate degree in Nutrition and Obesity from the Institute of Food Sciences of the University of Navarra (ICAUN).

Member of the Nutrition Research Group of the University Institute of Biomedical and Health Research of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC).
